Kia.com Website wins Award for Rich Content

Kia

The most useful automobile manufacturer Web sites for new vehicle buyers offer not only rich content but also strong execution of that content, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2010 Manufacturer Website Evaluation Study. Kia.com was selected as the most succesful website in this category according to this recent study. This is a new study that was released from the J.D. Power and Associates Reports.

Measuring rich media execution is pivotal in doing website research because it shows where the consumer found interest in the site and where the site may have lost their interest. The Kia.com website executes rich media really well throughout the site including videos and many moving parts. We are thrilled to announce that we work with Animated Designs and currently work on all the video encoding for the Kia.com website.

According to the report, Kia.com rates highest among usefulness in new-vehicle shopping with an index score of 880 on a 1,000 point scale and performs well in all four factors. Kia continues to improve its site and their online presence keeps getting better! Kia seems to really focus on drawing consumers in through rich-media and understand how to use rich-media online. Congrats to Kia.com! Read the full press release regarding this award here.
